A few IDs in the Perseus shot

persanotated.jpg

I had forgotten how good the Star Adventurer is. Dead light especially on my carbon tripod, so ideal for when my lurgy strikes and or my back goes out. I was set up in 5 minutes and imaging in 12. I then sat by the rig and just looked. Not the best skies in the country round here but they aren't bad, M33 was visible in 8x42 binos, just.

That's nice isn't it. A nice bit of sky to try it on as well, your favourite clusters there eh Phil! "Diamonds sprinkled on black velvet".

I like Melotte 20, a very neglected DSO and eye candy through binoculars.

Just try looking at it in some big bins without a tripod. I've seen it jump around a few times. :D
