Any members on here? Thinking about getting membership, but wondered whether it would involve a trek to London every time an event was on. I know they have a midlands branch who seem to do events at Droitwich, not sure how often though.

I was a member in the 1970s :DLapsed in early 80s so cant really say what its like these days. 

Its spaceflight, space travel and technology not astronomy but it was great for keeping up with Apollo and the stuff afterwards. Never went to a meeting as they were either London or (Manchester I think) in them days and I had no transport (or money) to get there
