Cracking images Steve... sublime ?

Venus is certainly moving on it was showing a half disc last time I looked...

That moon pic looks fantastic at full res. :thumbsup:

 

A very nice comparison. The full res moon image is at about the same scale as the Venus image. Moon about 1800 arcseconds and Venus about 47 arcseconds diameter. Which, of course, it should be assuming the same equipment was used. I just measured the images. :)

same scope and cam taken about 2 mins apart with same focus and more than likely the same cloud
