Yeah I had to get one for my Volvo cos it only had a can of goo. Cost around the same price iirc. Ridiculous that they don't do a full size spare nowadays - I've never been happy with that cos we tow a caravan and it's pretty necessary.

Mine has a space saver. It's a joke as it may as well be full size. It's a poxy 195 60 17 instead of the 235 50 18 that it has normally. It's not like they are saving much space is it!

Thing is if you get a fixable puncture and you use the goo you end up scrapping the tyre, seems to much hassle then you have to purchase more goo all about saving manufacturers money though drivers don't see any benefit

Saw the title of this thread and read it as 'SpecSavers Wheel'

I was thinking what the hell is a specsavers wheel ......... perhaps it's time I actually visited specsavers!

I have found a tyre place that washes them out and repairs them. Most won't due to the mess, but no reason why they can't be repaired.

Yes I had heard some places will clean , sounds a lot of messing about we all pay for it in the end , spare wheel seems a easier option even if it is as wide as a polo mint
