Unsightly tram lines are now history

Is your Crayford focusers lovely glossy black draw tube troubled with unsightly tramlines caused by the bearings wearing through the coatings, well worry no more the PJ bodge is here :)

I am going to be using the old Meade crayford (replaced with Moonlite on the scope) on my 6" F8 project but couldnt put up with the awful tramlines on the draw tube. So I set my mill up and ran a line along each one so its now nice and neatish. The bearings needed adjusting to account for the slight loss of material but all is smooth, well adjusted and looks a darn sight better than before.
