Moon - 4 Apr & 7 Apr

A couple of single image moon shots from 4th & 7th April.

Was mostly checking out new adapters connecting EOS 750D to scopes.

4th Apr was on Equinox 80 and 7th was on VC200L with focal reducer.

Both images transferred from DSLR to phone and phone app (Snapseed) to tweak contrast.

Both very nice. I like the brightness and phase of the second one the most. Looks like the adapters work fine.

Cheers.

I also prefer the 2nd one.  I've not actually dragged the full images from camera yet to look at them closer.

The new Vixen adapter for connecting to the focal reducer is great.  The older one had a bit of 'wobble' and didn't feel very secure.

VC200L isn't the best scope for planetary or lunar (far better on DSO's) but the moon was the easiest target and I wanted to check a few things out.

Yeah, great from single images, the second one particularly, well done
