Popular Post Doc Posted May 22, 2017 Popular Post Share Posted May 22, 2017 Went to the Wyre Forest today in Worcestershire. Took about 90 minutes to get there but was worth the drive. Went especially to see a new butterfly which was the Pearl Bordered Fritillary and we managed quite a few of these. We also saw a few Common Blue butterflies. The other butterflies we failed to see was the Small Pearl Bordered Fritillary and the Wood white. As for birds we saw Wood Warblers, Pied Flycatchers, Spotted Flycatchers, Redstarts, Tree Pipits, and Dippers. All in all a fantastic place but beware it's huge I think we just touched the tip off it.
