It was upgraded last week from a tropical storm to a Cat 1(while in the Mid-Atlantic) and i believe its been as high as Cat 3. I'm not sure of its current status though..... Not sure of its current path either, but its progressing in our direction. I've not seen a storm like this before so close to Western Europe, and if you zoom in you can see a well defined eyewall. Apparently Ireland have had emergency meetings about it. What do we think ? Are we in for a rough ride with this one....? Global warming....? Doc Posted October 15, 2017 Share Posted October 15, 2017 The path I saw on a website I looked at a few days ago placed it going over west coast of Ireland then Northern Ireland heading over the west coast of Scotland finally heading towards Norway. In contrast to the rest of the UK 30 years ago !! But these things can change direction and be unpredictable. Whats Ophelia's next move going to be.....?
