I tried what the woman at the end suggested with a long flat plank of wood, and you know what, she was right! The very essence of good science, independent verification of results. And of course a plank is entirely the appropriate tool to use here! Hang on a minute, think i'm on to something... Plank... Planck... Coincidence? I think not... Off to India next week.
