+Graham Posted April 20, 2012 Share Posted April 20, 2012 I have put this one together for a customer. He wanted to fit his Tal finder scope to his Pentax J80 refractor. Because the finder scope mounting is completely different he sent all the bits down to me from Scotland to see if I could come up with something. This is the result. The actual scope housing is machined from a single billet of Aluminium, this was mated to the mounting bracket I manufactured from a piece of Aluminium 'T' bar. I am a bit upset with the fact that I am now going to spray it black as to customers requirements. I think it would look better polished but then thats me and the customer is always right.
