+Derbyshire Dave Posted January 9, 2018 Share Posted January 9, 2018 Chesterfield Astronomical Society is based at the Barnett Observatory in Hastings Close in Chesterfield. We're a friendly bunch, and our observatory has an 18 inch reflector. This was set up in the late fifties, and is still very much used today. We are all very keen and have members interested in the visual and photographic side of Astronomy The observatory is open to visitors every Frdiay evening.
