Make the most of life whilst you have it and no matter what you are suffering from there is always someone having to go through life with worse. Be thankful

Wise and very meaningful words Phil.

I lost my dad in last September, and in March the same year my sister-in-law was murdered in France. Still reeling from that one.

However, life goes on, and despite of everything i have a lot to be thankful for. I tell myself that every day.

Certainly puts a cloudy night or even a broken telescope into perspective. I don't over-subscribe to the "eat, drink and be merry for tomorrow we may die" school of thought. We might not die and wake up to a hangover and indigestion.

Looking back, there are many things I life I regret doing but there's a lot more I regret not doing.

I've known several people who have attempted suicide but only two who succeeded. I have my own issues with depression.
