Thanks Martyn I just wish I could get the dust lanes to come out that has been one thing I struggle with on galaxies.

That's nice and sharp with fine detail, and in a nice wide field of view (half a degree or more) like through an eyepiece ?

 

You've gone down past 17th magnitude with some of those stars. I thought you might have a red hot pixel just above the galaxy until I found it on some other googled images, so it's a nice red star. You got another 15th mag galaxy at the top, UGC8313. ?

That's very nice Dave, and it's only about 20 degrees above the horizon at best. ?
