Looking for an electronics wizzard - FOUND

Hi all.

I am looking for someone who can build me a couple of Sound stepper driver boards.

I thought about doing it my self but the circuit drawings are more than a little baffeling to say the least.

This is a link to the page.

 http://soundstepper.sourceforge.net/#contact

Thanks

Graham

Is it not something you can buy of the shelf from a specialised shop Graham?

Not sure Mick.

I have sore fingers from trawling the net looking.

Now I do have some boards here that i used on a CNC mill I made years ago.

Now trying to find out if I can drive those with the sound card on my pc.

If I can then problem solved.

Well I have sorted out my control problem.

I have purchased one of these.

It is an AstroEQ board and a couple of pre-programmed chips.

Total cost £12.70 including P&P.

I have to get all the rest of the bits , resistors, caps and a couple of motor driver boards but total cost will be less than £50.00.

The good thing is this set up has been designed to talk directly to EQMOD

Once built I will be able to run any scope in EQMOD.

Just ordered in all the components from Farnell.

Ordered the 2 motor driver boards in from Amazon yesterday so they will be here today.

Just got to put it together now.

Large box arrived from Farnell today.

Not much in it they could have used a large Jiffy bag really.

All that remains is for me to transform this large array of bits into a circuit board.

Now where did I put that soldering iron. ?

At least if you run into problems using AstroeEQ there is more likely someone in the Astro community that will have the answers ?

Should not have any problems.

Once connected via ascom I can run the scope through maxim as per normal.

But you are correct the guy who's project this is is just an email away.
