I thought these were based on an individual prescription Paul.....?

Its something i am looking at as well. My eyes aren't what they once were.....!!

Its a little awkward that all my eyepieces (24, 19 Pans and 13 Naglers) all need adapters to use Dioptrix,

but not a deal breaker though....

Plenty to take in on the Tv website if you've not already got it all on board.

They will work on all your Ethos and Panoptic without adapters, but not your zoom.

Hi

Yes my Cyl Prescription is 1.25.

So anything above 1.75mm exit pupil means i could do with a Dioptrx

With my scope i'm fine with magnification below 13mm

So i'm going to get one of these to use with my Ethos 17mm and 35 Panoptic and see just how good they are.

Sorry, i didn't realise the 1.25 was the actual prescription.

I find it somewhat complicated. I mentioned it to my optician last year,

he explained it, but i didn't really understand it. A bit out of my comfort zone really.

I'd be interested to know your thoughts if you get the chance to use one.

Did you know that FLO now sell Tele-vue ? I'm not sure if that includes accessories like Dioptrix...yet ?

Apparently they have not long had a shipment.  So they won't get another shipment for at least 3 months

I bet TV would have one air mailed to you within a fortnight for only a few dollars extra. I'd phone or email them and ask directly.

I've spoken with several US companies who have all been very pleasant and helpful. They seem to like dealing with us Brits. Apparently our "special relationship" is now at "the highest level of special"! ?

I emailed flo optics today .

They said they can supply me with one with 14 days.

And they quoted me £99.

I'm sure I've seem them elsewhere priced at £125

I'm going to look into it and order one after my hols.

As I'm in Hunstanton next week.

Shame the moons up as I have had some amazing nights there with my scope.

That's the result you wanted. ? ?

I'd snap up that deal straight away, because that cheap price and shipping time can quickly change for the worse if you leave it a while. Putin could be running the White House by the time you get back from Hunstanton. ?

The moon shouldn't be quite so bright on the Saturday evening....

I noticed you sold your 31mm nagler.

You have no idea how tempted I was to buy it.

However I have only just bought a second hand panoptic 35mm .

So decided to hold back and enjoy the panoptic for a while. And maybe get a 31mm later .

I was also looking at the giro you are selling.

Will it fit my skywatcher eq5 tripod?

Could it handleaves the weight of my sw120ed?

Sorry Paul, only just seen this.

I'm afraid i've sold it as well.

No good for your 120 anyway, thats much too big a scope.

It was more suited to <80mm scopes.
