Hi Guys

Simple question (I hope).

For DSLR imaging through an 80ED refractor and a 200p Newtonian, which would be more suitable, the Canon 100D or 600D with swivel screen?

If your on an EQ mount then the swivel screen makes more sense Graham..

600D has a better sensor and is generally less noisy, though there isn't a huge amount in it.  The 100D is lighter and less likely to pull a Crayford focuser.

Generally speaking though, the 600D is the better camera all round, though a lot may depend on the age of the respective cameras, how they have been looked after and what their release counts are.
