At talk on Gravitational Waves by Natasha Carr

 

Natasha is one of our members. Talk at 8:15 at the Observatory.

 

How will the discovery of gravitational waves affect physics in the future?’

The talk is all about how the discovery of gravitational waves could affect the future of physics; exploring many different aspects such as science, technology and engineering.

It has been the subject of interest for my recent Extended Project Qualification, which I started in October and finished in May. My research included collaborations with experts in the field, like Dr Daw (University of Sheffield) and Radmila Topalovic (astronomer at Greenwich Observatory).
