NGC6992 Easten Veil nebula

After a long struggle with guiding and more recently pulse guiding I finally seem to have cracked it and am getting some better results. This was imaged on the night of Friday the 10th August from my light polluted back garden in Chesterfield.

Dave Simpson Veil

Imaged through my 622mm f4.9 scope and Canon 450d modded with UHC filter.

This is 20 x 300sec images and 20ish flats, no dark or bias. Seeing was better than average.

Stacked in DSS and processed in Photoshop cs2.

Thanks for the positive comments guys, I've finally got my profile sorted out.

I've got myself booked in at Kelling (a big thanks to Derbyshire Dave on that one) so I'm hoping to meet some of you there.

Fingers crossed for good weather.
