M81 and 82 from tonight.

Well I could not believe it when the skies cleared tonight for the first time for weeks.

It was just too good to miss.

I set up my Samsung video camera in the 120mm Helios Refractor for the first time since I bought it ages ago.

I decided to revisit an old friend in M 81 and M82.

The photos below are both 5000 frame unguided AVI's put through Registax 5.

No other processing involved.

Hope you like.

Well the dawn chorus has now started so I had better go to bed.

Thanks

Graham.

Thanks folks for the kind words.

Darren I just sat in front of the monitor and kept nudging the 'West' and 'North' buttons on the Eqmod control panel.

4 nudges West to 1nudge North every 3 seconds or so.

Cannot believe how bad the photos look on here though, very grainy and pixulated. They look a lot better in the 'TIF' versions.

Todays task is to get the guiding up and working for tonight.
