Pity I'll be back home before the auction otherwise I could have collected that for someone. It might go for a good price if there are no astronomers bidding against each other. I always wanted to own a Russian scope at some point in my like. I always fancied a Maksutov Newtonian but you hardly ever see them come up for sale. The 10" versionof that scope weighs in at a rather considerable 26kg. What do they make the tubes out of i wonder.....cast iron ? ?
