Complete kit for sale :-( - ALL SOLD

After a lot of soul-searching, I've sadly decided to sell my scope and associated kit. I've always had the issue of very limited horizons where I live, plus some light pollution, but have now also lost the only storage space where I could reasonably expect to be able to get it out and set it up fairly quickly. I'll continue using binos for now and will consider a more grab-and-go scope instead. The kit below is going complete, I'll not be splitting it. It would be eminently suitable for someone wanting to get into visual astronomy as a basic level. The kit comprises:-

Celestron Nexstar 6SE 1500mm focal length Schmitt-Cassegrain (XLT coatings) with

·         Original tripod

·         Celestron CN16 GPS unit

·         Standard finder scope

·         9-pin PC connection lead

·         Manuals for scope and GPS

Additionally, fitted with

·         William Optics 2in Dielectric Carbon Fibre Diagonal D-DIG2D-C with 1.25in adapter (original 1.25in Celestron diagonal included)

·         Baader Hyperion MK III Zoom eyepiece (click stopped 8-24mm range)

Celestron 1.25in lens and filter kit in case

·         4, 6, 9, 10, 15, 20, 25 & 32mm Plossl multicoated eyepieces

·         2x Barlow lens

·         #12 Deep yellow, #21 Orange, #25 Red, #56 Light Green, #58A Green, #80A light Blue and Moon filters

·         Lens brush

Celestron 12v Power tank #18774 with mains charger and 12vdc lead

Astrozap dew shield #816 for 6in SCT with #AZ-720 dual channel controller

Astro Engineering set of three Red Alerts tripod leg warning lights

Compass and Skywatcher LED night vision torch

All the above comes in two stackable transit/storage cases, each is 82cm x 42cm x 44cm tall

Looking for £850 ideally for the whole set (that's the price of the scope on it own without anything else, the accessories, trunks, etc are probably another 7-800). Photos below.

I know you say you won't split, but.....

As the scope already has the stock diagonal would you consider selling me the 2" ?

Absolutely no worries if not ; i appreciate you want to sell it as a job lot.

Not as it stands, Rob. Taking the diagonal out of the set means the Baader eyepiece is of no use to it.

Thanks for asking though.

Just in case you can't sell...

I will purchase the zoom as well as the 2" diagonal if you want to split them.

Have a think anyway. No worries if no sale.

Good luck with selling. With Christmas creeping up there should be a buyer out there somewhere ?

Unfortunately, as many of us are going into the red to buy presents, I doubt that there's many about with a few hundred to spare.

I have to admit that my bins and PST see more use than anything else for visual. However, I still like to use my 127mm Mak for planetary and lunar photography and viewing.

I admire your set of eyepieces but I do very little visual these days.

As I'm getting older, I think I'll probably replace my 127mm with an 80mm ED or APO but not ready to make the move yet.

Now sold to a very nice gentleman from Downham Market who thought it ideal for public outreach events (rather more portable than his CPC 925...)
