First attempts

Well today I tried to see if I could capture some Solar images.

Using the 120mm Helios Refractor with a home made Baader film filter and the Samsung video camera I set about trying to get some decent images.

I was using Sharpcap and had set it to capture a single frame at a time.

I have then had to put each single AVI frame through Picassa to convert to JPEG.

It seemed every time I tried to get a shot of the Sun a cloud passed over so I decided to see if I could capture the clouds passing over the Sun.

Well it passed the afternoon in a peaceful and pleasant way.
