Yes, it may feel tempting at times but when I get hissed, I just find somewhere else to post. You're not going to please all of the people all of the time online any more than you can in real life.

These cyber crimes are worrying. I suppose they needed to make an example of the guy by coming down like a ton of bricks to deter others.

Is anyone on here a member on Cloudy Nights ??

I am myself for 11 or 12 years, much longer than on here or on SGL.

 

I don't contribute alot and only have around 300 posts i think.

However i think its a very good forum (it has a Binoviewer section ?)

and i've learnt much over all those years.

 

I don't actually remember reading anything on CN about these events though ?

 

I'll say one thing though, some of the threads you read on there can get rather

heated at times.....the moderators are often kept busy.

It just goes to show how good EMS is! Although it wasn't an astronomy forum, I just got fed up with flame wars and left it!
