Spectacular hit on the meteor detector this morning.

Been a busy 24 hours on the meteor detection front.

This beauty came in at 11 mins past 5 this morning.

Not sure at all what it was.  I detect a few of these every now and then.  There has been numerous discussions on whether meteor or space junk. Velocity comes into the discussion, but I don't understand it. Shape and character may be something that might help identify - but we need "known reference standards" for comparison purposes.  There are some databases which predict and monitor re-entries, so it's sometimes worth having a look and see if there is any correlation with a timing.  I'm just collecting data daily, but don't know what to do with it.
