Hello ?

I have just ordered a Orion go scope 80mm to put in our camper van for our holidays around the lake District and Scotland. Has anyone had or got one of these? They have good reviews.

There's a good comparison of three scopes including yours here:

Seems like a reasonably capable little starter scope and good value for money in this price range. If the bug bites, you may find yourself upgrading sooner than you thought, and it will have done it's job lol.

Congrats on your purchase. ?

Hi  Craig,

i think that scope would give you some nice views especially from real dark skies you are going too.

Thanks guys. I wish I could take my sky watcher 150p with EQ3 mount but it's to big. So I wanted a small one to take on holiday. Can't think of a better one really for the price

Hello Red dwalf. That used to be my favourite TV show, Red Dwarf ??

I have a skywatcher 150p but I just wanted something for van for when we go away. No room for a large tripod once we've packed everything.
