Well sadly the motor bearing did not last and I had to replace it.

Still not to worry only ten mins lost.

A few more hours to go. ?

That's it.

All done.

Tomorrow's task is to run all the wires through the mount ready for the motors to be fitted.

I have decided to make a few adjustments to the old scope so I can fit it on to this mount.

That way I can do a shake down test on the mount and use the big mirror whilst I build the new scope.

Should be up and running next week with a fair wind.

Looking forward to it.

More to follow as it happens.

That's an epic project Graham, just homebrew ( loosely said of course...chough!) engineering at it's best. Well done Sir.

Thanks Stephen.

Started my own Astro channel on You Tube so I have somewhere to keep them all. ?

Hi Graham, have you thought about entering your YouTube site permanently on your signature.? ?

I thought about it Stephen.

In fact I did put the link up in my signature but took it off again.

It is more of a place where I can upload and store videos so I can post them on here rather than a coherent channel.

You can get to it by clicking the circular logo in the top left corner on any of my videos.
