Even if your new mount has a built-in Lithium-ion battery, you'll still need 12V power for dew control etc! I have for sale an iOptron PowerWeight case - everything you need to make an 8 Amp/hr, 3.5 Kg counterweight to fit either a 20mm or 28 mm shaft, except the cells themselves. DOES NOT INCLUDE BATTERIES - it needs six E-size Cyclon cells, which are soldered to the (included) printed circuit board. (Google "Cyclon E cell") Charges with any 12V SLA charger, via the twin 2.1 mm connectors (cable included). Available for £50.00. I also have a set of six DUD SLA batteries which won't hold their charge, but they are heavy, so useful as passive counterweights. Free for collection to anyone who can use them.
