Popular Post +RonC Posted March 19, 2019 Popular Post Share Posted March 19, 2019 I want to mount my MN190 permanently on my NEQ6 because it's too heavy to keep moving about! I need to widen the lift-up obsy/shed by some 20 cms and raise the roof 25 cms or so. Started tonight by removing the existing roof (felt) one end and one side, I have fitted one side but now need to get the plywood for the wider ends. I have decided instead of a door, too save weight and have a removable end making it lighter for me to lift. More photo's follow which will explain my plan. Roof felt removed. Bottletopburly Posted March 20, 2019 Share Posted March 20, 2019 Would you not be better having the shed on runners to so you could slide out , perpaps make decking longer and have wheels run in a groove, mind you can assign a custom park so you don’t have to have scope weights down so you could park 90deg and save on height , just a thought. This is a compromise I know but it's worked for the last 2 years so I thought I would just tweak it to fit the mount +scope now. Door cut to size but fabricating that will be tomorrows job plus adding the MN190 and working out the roof! Ready for rest now but it's dog walkies time!! After making the door this afternoon, I put the MN190 on the mount and no matter how I moved the scope about I had a problem opening and closing the obsy. See photos below! I have now worked out away to fix this but some headaches remain!! I can remove the counter weights and bring the scope to a lower position BUT I'm worried about the mount being left unbalanced and if it would cause future problems?? Anyway, first side covered.. Second side covered.. and lastly the centre/top covered.. One or two folds and twisty bits but I'm no roofer!! Door fixed as well so now a well earned rest!!
