+Graham Posted May 30, 2012 Share Posted May 30, 2012 (edited) Decided to see if I could make a Bahtinov Mask for my refractor today. Downloaded the pattern and then glued the pattern to a sheet of 5mm thick Aluminium. Stuck it on the mill and milled out the White bits from the pattern. Rolled up an edge strip and attached. Final result a Bahtinov mask that should push over the end of the Dew shield on the Helios. Err, don't think that was a good idea : the pattern is designed specifically for the scope focal length and ratio.
