philjay Posted October 11, 2019 Share Posted October 11, 2019 Thats a long way to transport a mirror for recoating. I remember visiting the INT in the 70s before it was moved to La Palma. I just bunged mine into the boot of my car and dropped it off at Orion Optics for a week.
