oldfruit Posted July 3, 2012 Share Posted July 3, 2012 I use both, to be honest whilst the ortho`s have a limited field of view i do find that they provide a very crisp and sharp image. I had my best ever view of Saturn through my University Optics 4mm orthoscopic eyepiece. The plossls are good and give reasonably good views but i personnaly think that a good orthoscopic eyepiece will give slightly sharper views in most cases but this is just my own experience and opinion and my experience is limited.
