Green channel subs in imaging, is it worth it ?

a question to the wise,

is it actually worth doing subs for the green channel in RGB imaging ?

i ask as in photoshop and i suppose other post processing software, i can do a synthetic green channel therefore freeing up my time to do more Lum, Red and Blue instead,

thoughts please.

I dont Rob, as you say nothing Astronomy Tools or PS won't sort out..and in all honesty for the quality of my images i wouldn't notice if i used green emulsion😁
