Flats panel

Having had problems with my EL panel causing banding things I have found out about EL panels is they need an alternating current of at least 120v so maybe the driver gone duff or maybe the panel anyway ordered a tracer panel, quality not brilliant and plastic marks easy , it basically has led strip on one edge shining through Perspex so doesn’t actually give a good even field of light but for test purposes may do the job , so I’m going to make a panel up using led strip light I will update this thread as I do it but involves making a box 200mm square in white plastic 25mm deep ish with outer edge housing  12v led strip hopefully that will illuminate the white inside sufficiently with a hole in the face to sit on scope ,parts should be able to source from scrap ..

I have just down loaded a lightbox app for my tablet.

Gives a very even light across the entire screen.

Going to try that.

For my flats I use my laptop or mobile phone (depending on the lens). I created a blank document in Word with the background colour set to 255, 255, 255 and then saved it as a PDF which opens on anything. Not had a problem so far.
