Bottletopburly Posted June 26, 2020 Author Share Posted June 26, 2020 Gave the lens autofocus a go last night though guide cam was playing up or should I say phd2 was , then wispy high cloud so Packed in before I started , though I did manage to try the focus routine with a lens and seems to work well, basically pick a bright star use lens focuser tool to eyeball Focus in live view the press autofocus it takes three routines in first pass the three in second pass , voila ,set focus on lens back to manual focus job done , takes about 5 minutes got to be easier than using my tired eyes looking at a small screen .
