Was reading about this too. Will be great in 2015 when we will get to see Pluto properly when the probe arrives.

I find it amazing that they can even see something that small (about fifteen miles across) at that distance, about 3,500 million miles I think.

We have come a long way since they found Pluto in 1930.

Pluto might not be a planet anymore, but it keeps popping back into the limelight :)

Its truly amazing though what amateurs can do thee days. Most larger scopes can show the movement of Pluto over observation sessions, and when you look at what the dark arters of astrophotog can produce, truly magnificent images.

I can't wait for what is around the corner.
