M57 in narrowband

Recommended Posts

This is the first image I've processed with the Toscano 8" RC

Its not good but I've posted it to give Graham an idea how much hard work and time to get the outer halo with the DSLR

BUT DO NOT GIVE UP as the RC is f9 so its slow

Ha x10 O3 x7 S2 x12 all 1200secs(20mins subs)

Thanks for sharing Steve.

I haven't had the time/conditions lately but M57 is certainly on the to do list.

Interesting shots Steve - I've never seen it come out with a yellow'ish tinge before - usually blue'ish. What's the reason for that? Nonetheless there's a lot of detail in there including the outer halo as you say. :)
