Popular Post +Derbyshire Dave Posted December 22, 2020 Popular Post Share Posted December 22, 2020 Taken on Sunday night just after 5PM with my ZWO ASI 183MM through my William Optics GT81, with a luminance filter. Three one minute videos taken at different exposures and gain to get the intensities right for Saturn, Jupiter's surface, and the moons. Processed each video in Registax, then combined the three TIFF images in Photoshop. Really pleased to have got Jupiter's moon, but amazed I can just see Titan to the right of Saturn as well. You can also just make out a bright star to the left of Callisto, which just happens to be in line.. Click and Click again on the Flickr image for full resolution... The unlabelled object to the left of Callisto is the star 'HD 191250' in Aquarius I've read that Jupiters moon Ganymede actually occulted this star, and was visible from the Mexico area. +Derbyshire Dave 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
