Eastern Veil

Is the Ha overwhelming the other colours? If you remove the red layer, what's left? If their is enough there perhaps try backing of the red layer? With my unmodded Canon 200 (which, if you believe the internet, has a sensitivity of only about 10 to 15% at Ha) the veil has roughly equal teal/blue (Hb?) to red (Ha) regions (which possibility aligns with my understanding that the Hb emissions intensity are only about 20% of the intensity of the Ha emissions?)

the full moon will drown out the shorter wavelengths....you might see more green on a new moon.....rare I know..... but a super shot especially with the challenging conditions
