Anyway the kids played in the van while I loaded it then we had lunch, we had the mother of all thunderstorms with torrential rain this afternoon and that's the time my lad said Daddy I think I have left the van window open and yeap he had !! For years I have been in the habit of unplugging the the TVs, dvd players and set top boxes just before we go. We got back into the house after the holiday and there was the most awful rotten stench throughout the house. The fridge, the freezer and every electrical appliance in the kitchen had been diligently switched off by my daughter just prior to us leaving. A rotting liquid mess had dribbled out the bottom of the freezer. My daughter was quite upset when she told us what she had done, but she was only trying to help by copying me .
