It's 2nd hand but alledgedly never been used and comes with a GSO base instead of the SW one (not sure why). Any advice on anything I should look out for before I hand over my hard earned cash? Brantuk Posted August 8, 2012 Share Posted August 8, 2012 Make sure the primary aint scratched or marked - a bit of dust is ok so long as nothing sticky or sharp has been in contact with it. The SW bases do wear out - Martyns thinking of changing his. Check it glides up down and around easilly and has just enough "sticktion" to stay in place for observing.
