Derbyshire Dave was awarded the badge 'Picture Of The Month Winner' The Andromeda Galaxy, plus sister galaxies M110 (front right), and M32 (top left), taken at Kelling Heath this autumn. This was taken as a four panel mosaic on my mono ASI183mm camera. 240 one minute images were taken, on the L,R,G and B filters. 60 shots for each of the four panels. Each panel was stacked first in PixInsight, then the R,G and B combined to produces a single coloured pane. The four panels were then assembled as a mosaic in PixInsight, final processing in Photoshop. In essence, a mere 15 minutes of data of M31, so very pleased with the result. Worth a good pan and zoom. Thanks. I agree Rob, somehow makes it seem more vast.
