a few subs about 35 x 900secs with the SX9 on the Tak 102 no calibration frames used at the moment

I hope to combine the colour obtained with the DSLR at some stage

this galaxy is partly obscured by the milky way I believe and has been the h0ome to a good few SN's

I previously tried this http://www.astrosphe...uk/sn2004et.htm

added a bit of colour via dslr on the 8" RC still no calibrations applied

Nice one Steve.

Has that been disrupted at some stage, it looks like one of the arms is out of kilter?

Steve that is stunning, Might just say a prayer to the cloud gods to give you a break so you can finish it.

What an awesome looking galaxy :)

Great picture as usual Steve.

Would it be possible to view that with my 200P?

I'm betting Felix that if we can see it with our scopes, it will be nothing but a faint fuzzy blob!

awesome picture, where does the colour come from, is it temperature of stars, or red/blue shift? Just a rookie question re phtography
