Baader cc direct to focuser

Having put the 200pds back on the mount yesterday I went to attach camera just to check balance but couldn’t attach direct to the baader mk3 CC as the retaining  ring in the cc was too deep leaving no thread , luckily I had an old skywatcher light pollution filter so I used that retaining ring which was only 1.5mm thick and replaced the baader ring which is at least 5mm deep leaving a decent amount of M48 thread to attach to the baader Steeltrack, I’m hoping being direct m48 connection I can align spikes square to sensor and making easier to align stars on the same target after multiple sessions, well that’s the theory anyway , and save faffing about I would have if using the compression ring retainer connection and have a more solid connection and less chance of tilt though may find it a pain having to unscrew at end of night but will see how it goes looking forward to first light to see if all the tweaking I’ve done on the ota pays off and is notebly visibly better .
