Speed Posted March 14, 2022 Share Posted March 14, 2022 Hi strange one this Friend has an EQ5 mount dual drives but only the RA is working the gears are working on the DEC but not moning the scope you can move it by hand with the small fine tuning wheel so can`t get my head around this why move by hand but not with the control even when the gears are visibly turning any Ideas please Speed Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Speed Posted March 15, 2022 Author Share Posted March 15, 2022 Hi Graham that was my thought will check again but why can the fine tuning wheel work on the shaft can move the mount DEC by hand ( maybe because the motor drive isnt engages when using manually ?
