Had a brilliant session sun bothering today.

Bit of cloud about but nothing compared to yesterday 😂

All taken with the double stacked 60mm Lunt and the Point Grey camera.

False colour added in PS 6.

Is this a 90' angle? I saw a central spot and another at 3'oclock (RHS) earlier?

Only if you view it from a static point on the Earth Ron. 😂

The camera rotates along with the RA axis exactly as it does for you when you image with your scope.

The only way to keep the sun in a relative position to the Earth would be to put a rotator on the scope.

I, like Ron perhaps, just expect to see the Suns E-W axis horizontal rather than vertical which it appears to be in the image. On a equatorial mount that would happen irrespective of what position the sun was in the sky?

I could spin the camera round 90 degrees in the holder to make it correct but that would really disturb my ocd for symmetry 😂
