Popular Post +Derbyshire Dave Posted May 9, 2022 Popular Post Share Posted May 9, 2022 Still learning at the SCT game, spent yesterday afternoon with my C8 balanced vertically on top of an LCD flat panel taking flats. Tricky process, and only got to look at them today to find that they had a fine regular grid pattern beause I didn't put enough sheets of paper as a diffuser on top of the screen. Doh! Have to do them again then! Anyway, went out last night and had a go at M101 just RGB about 50 minutes RG, only 30 mins B because the clouds came in. Processed with those dodgy flats, pleased that they in principle worked properly Also really pleased that the focus is good, and that the star shapes finally look OK after months of uncertainty.
