Nice pics : i particularly like the Goldfinch. One of my favourite garden birds.

The Robin is nice too ; a perfect focus and capture.

All you birders, can i ask for advice....?

We have 2 feeders in our garden. One generic grain, the other suet fat balls. I fill them up every week.

I was hoping to attract a wider variety of garden birds, but with no luck.

We are in a decent location, bordering onto Darley park so plenty of close woodland.

The only birds the feeders attract are Sparrows, Blue Tits and Great Tits and Robins. And thats it.

Never seen a finch of any sort.

Unwelcome guests are Magpies, and Pigeons after scraps on the ground.

The Magpies have a good go at the suet but can't get at it very well as its double caged.

What can i do to attract other birds ?

Do i need a different feed option ?
