Popular Post 8472 Posted June 29, 2022 Popular Post Share Posted June 29, 2022 Hi all, We popped up to a local nature reserve for a gander one afternoon last weekend. The innate AP'er in me couldn't help but look for the ideal composition for a potential nightscape. I returned, later that night with a new-to-me vintage 28mm lens I'd earlier reverse-engineered from it's original Minolta MD to now EF fitment (easier said than done, as MD has a shorter flange distance) and Olympus body with focal reducer. Sadly, it seems I may have slightly missed focus, so no pixel peeping - I'm a bit rusty with nightscapes! 10 minutes of 8 second lights, untracked on a tripod plus calibration frames. Stacked in Sequator, then fettled with my usual pp workflow. The bright light dome is no doubt from Ogston Reservoir to the south, in the background again.
