Why the water authorities don't drop the flood gates by a matter of a few inches to get the water moving and get rid of all that floating Algae I have know idea. I mean it really doesn't take much thinking about does it. If they lower the water level for a couple of hours all that Algae would float off down to the sea. Anyway rant over. I had a wonderfully peaceful wander along the river bank and even managed to get a few shots of the natives. There are subtitles. Doc Posted July 2, 2022 Share Posted July 2, 2022 It might look like a lot of algae Graham but you have to remember it's full of life. It also attracts insects to feed on it, lay eggs on it.
