Installed new stainless steel springs in my 200PDS 12x15x1.6dia , I’ve fitted 2x at each adjuster one next to each other , one being passive held in by the locking screw , the old springs were useless and mirror used to move about a bit hopefully this will sort it , I may need to move the passive springs so they’re spaced evenly but for now I’m putting next to each other and see how that goes , just recollimation to do later today , I had to clean mirror it had a greasy coating which baader wonder fluid managed to clean cloth was black which I suspect was caused by an inconsiderate idiot two doors down burning all sorts of crap , all good now though .large.ADAB5C9E-322E-4794-A369-3474C72D6B51.jpeg.5a9033f69f9f6ca35ebae9597db83211.jpeglarge.E5621E64-C721-4382-847A-7A8260693C3E.jpeg.cd0b92f0801fe715890017ca4a3f7350.jpeglarge.15EC9F92-A7B6-46AD-A713-BEC7C800845E.jpeg.9e005040099b40b1c4da51c3c7301c58.jpeg

That should work well, a tidy bit of work there David. Stainless springs don't "tire" like steel springs do so should last a lifetime.

It takes a leap of faith to clean the mirror doesn't it.
