Bottletopburly Posted July 16, 2022 Share Posted July 16, 2022 Installed new stainless steel springs in my 200PDS 12x15x1.6dia , I’ve fitted 2x at each adjuster one next to each other , one being passive held in by the locking screw , the old springs were useless and mirror used to move about a bit hopefully this will sort it , I may need to move the passive springs so they’re spaced evenly but for now I’m putting next to each other and see how that goes , just recollimation to do later today , I had to clean mirror it had a greasy coating which baader wonder fluid managed to clean cloth was black which I suspect was caused by an inconsiderate idiot two doors down burning all sorts of crap , all good now though . +RonC 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
BAZ Posted July 16, 2022 Share Posted July 16, 2022 That should work well, a tidy bit of work there David. Stainless springs don't "tire" like steel springs do so should last a lifetime.
